State of the Mun
Let's see, what's happened since July of 2020?
- Summer internship went really well, but my adviser kept moving the goal posts on me for graduation.
- Last year of school was entirely virtual, really good, super supportive, and generally full of a lot of time blindness
- Moved twice in 2021 - once in May, once in August
- Had a hysterectomy in June
- Was unemployed that whole time, except for a two week period, and kept getting screwed over by unemployment because I "hadn't worked enough" the prior year despite working exactly as much in 2020 as I did in 2019
- Finally graduated
- Got a full time, salaried job at American Shakespeare Center in October
- Finally paid off my single credit, and got my diploma
- Had a COVID scare

I also went in and out of Duplicity again during that July 2020 to now period, as well as, in December 2020, re-apping Kavinsky to Penance (with memories), and, in June 2021, apping Caleb to Penance (brand fresh and new).

Balancing work with RP has been the biggest task, esp because my time blindness reminds THE FUCKING WORST. I'm trying my best.


State of the Pups
There were some big changes to the roster last year - Frank and Tommy both went home in 2021, and I stuck with that until November! My first new character since Tommy!!!

Joseph Kavinsky - [open TL HERE]
Gained Wanda again, but lost Blue and Charlie. The house is quieter with just him and Newt, but he continues to truck along, happy and healthy. Also, he's basically uncle to Alex and Danny's kid, which is always fantastic for him. I need to do more with Arch Studios, but, like I said in July 2020, I'm always saying that. Maybe this year I'll actually do it!

Inej Ghafa-Rietveld -
Lost...BASICALLY EVERYBODY! She is a single widow mother of two almost 2 year olds now, owner and proprietor of The Crow Club and Eider Downs because the men in her life keep leaving her things. She also got her ship, the Wraith, which is moored out in the bay (and not at the docks). Things are pretty slow and steady for her, not too much new in her world - but she might have a single (1) feeling about Daniel Sousa that she is not acknowledging unless he acknowledges if he has one first.

Neil Perry - [open TL HERE]
Neil and Caleb M said their "I love you"s at different points, roughly 2 months apart - and then broke up shortly after. Neil is STILL pining about a guy that's Just Not That Into Him, as well as every person he has ever lost, both in Darrow and without. He did Shakespeare in the Park both 2020 and 2021, and continues to live with Rosie, who he basically considers his platonic life partner at this point. He's Depressed [tm] - but winter is always a really rough time for him.

Caleb Widogast - [open TL HERE; old but still open post HERE (Dec 2021)]
New character !!! Caleb arrived in November 2021 and is...very confused about this place, still. He might be reverting, just a little bit, to his standoffishness from about mid-campaign, but he's trying REALLY hard not to just turn into a total hermit. But Darrow is noisy and too bright and--well, the snowstorm is basically the best thing that's happened since he's got here. Last month (the open post above), he broke into the former home of The Iron Bull and Dorian Pavus and [will have] pinched a couple of books and things to look into - but he doesn't have a job yet, the absolute noodle, so it'll be a while before he can get the money together to buy himself the cottage with its little tower/turret.

I recently rewatched Dead Poets Society, so Neil might be getting an item in the next month or two - and Kavinsky's birthday is coming up in February and he's due for some sort of shenanigans. Other than that, hit me up for anything and everything you could want to do with my kiddos.

State of the Mun
In a week, I'll be starting courses for my second Masters degree, this one in Material Culture and Public Humanities. We're endearingly calling it "a practical History degree". I'm hoping to look at queer culture and culture building. I'm going to be working at the Moss Art Center on campus for my assistantship, and will be teaching two sections of University 100 at the other local school. Also, there will hopefully be a couple weekends of heading up to work at the Maryland Renaissance Faire.

In other news, I'm playing at multiple games now! This, coupled with old-job-stress, has been a major contributing factor of slowing down on some of my tags. I'm aware of that and trying to get things in line, especially since two of these games have AC requirements.

At any rate, things are going okay and I'll hopefully be getting back on my meds soon, which will also desperately help with, ya know, everything.


State of the Pups - Darrow
Since last year I've dropped both Billy Rocks and Cremisius Aclassi, and I've added Tommy Shelby. Things have been good otherwise, if a bit quiet. I'm working on everything. The following is more upcoming plans than a general recap.

Joseph Kavinsky -
Kavinsky is going to be directly connected to the Lucifer plot currently happening. Once things get rolling, Kavinsky is going to dream up the Spear of Longinus so that Lucifer can successfully be killed. Other than that, he has no major plot involvement. He's enjoying being a guardian, even if the Darkness plot took a lot out of him because everyone he loves and cares about got kidnapped and he couldn't do anything about it.

Inej Ghafa-Rietveld -
Got married in the summer, and is pregnant now! She conceived in early June, shortly after the wedding, so she's closing out month two of her pregnancy. Though she hasn't told Kaz yet, she's going to start really apparently showing soon, and it's not like she can hide that sort of thing from him anyway. Inej will be having twins!

Neil Perry -
He will be starting school shortly, going for the Bachelor of Arts in Library Sciences at Barton University. He was involved in Shakespeare in the Park this year, playing Iago in Othello, and while he's very happy with his degree choice he is regretting not looking into acting seriously. In other news, he and Harry Stark are getting slowly and steadily more serious; and he moved in with Rosie Wilson earlier in the summer.

Frank Castle -
Got his dog, Max, about a month ago. He's also been living with Billy for about six months or so, and trying to console Guy Burgess that, yes, things really can work out in a weird menage a trois relationship sort of thing with the three of them. Oh, also, he and Billy are totally basically married. Frank can't bring himself to actually propose, because that not-really-a-joke didn't go over spectacularly with Billy, and also he knows that Billy appreciates his freedom too much to settle down.

Tommy Shelby -
Was seeing Nina Zenik, a bit, but he sort of fucked that up. Is flirting heavily with Mary Crawley, who reminds him desperately of home. I need to figure out a couple of business plans to submit, but Tommy really wants to open up a race track (horses and cars) south of the city, and apply for a gambling license so people can run bets--him. So he can run bets and fix races and the like.

State of the Pups - Penance
Penance is a relatively new game (only a few months old) set in Hell. I'm having a lot of fun playing absolute garbage.

Joseph Kavinsky -
Kavinsky had a rough time because the last event was Nightmares. He punched two different people and just made an absolute shit show of things because he can't manage himself. Newt month is going to be a lot of drunken stupors and poorly done damage control. Boy is sharp edges and poor decisions. Also his hands are slowly turning black, because he's All Sins All the Time, and the more sins the more demonic features they gain.

Frank Castle -
Frank also isn't having a great time with Nightmare times, because he beat the absolute shit out of three different people and is just not coping well with the fact that he's trying to be neutral at best and he keeps slipping into Terrible Human Being. Frank isn't undergoing any demonic changes right now because, like my Darrow version, I play a Jewish Frank, and there's a lot of antisemitic stuff in how I could alter him.

State of the Pups - Duplicity
Henry Cheng -
I JUST apped him in, so there isn't a whole lot that I've done with him yet. However, he's got a fairly decent cast that I hope I can mesh into, and I've played off a couple other people on the TDM. I need work out what Henry is doing in the game. Mostly, I just wanted to find a place to play him again.


Interested in plotting with me in one or more of these places? Tell me what you want to do! I am considering dropping and restarting some/most of my stuff in Darrow and Penance for a fresh start in September. But also it's almost the end of the month, so maybe I'll just scale back for September until I can get things under control. We'll figure it out.

Since February, Even went back to Norway. Everyone is still very quiet. This is becoming increasingly troubling/troublesome. I have a lot of thoughts and ideas, but a lot of difficulty feeling like any of those thoughts and ideas will go anywhere, so I mostly keep them to myself. Things don't really get off the ground anymore. It makes it hard to get anything done.

Cremisius Aclassi -
Is good and kind. Got a nose ring with Aggie in March. Is now well-healed from it. Hasn't been up to much else. May be considering going into more particular clothing design, rather than simply tailoring and bespoke with the shop, but I've also been thinking about having him do a clothing line for about eight months, and haven't done anything with it, so we'll see.

Doing remarkably well. Has taken off dreaming again, now that things seem stable, but has started to take up his old habits about it (ie, thieving). This will not end well probably at some point, idk when. No major plans at the moment. He's enjoying having friends and a husband and dumb cats and a lovely home and I like how soft he's gotten.

Is failing English because the teacher is a jerk, and has given up on the rest of his classes because he's literally never had to face academic adversity before and his last English teacher was So Spectacular he literally doesn't know what to do about this dickhole he has right now. Will have to take summer classes, and won't get to graduate from his senior year until the winter at the earliest. Is sort of freaking out about it. It's not doing his mental health very well. He refuses to tell anyone. Also he has, like, one whole friend and that's his boyfriend.

The Future
There is some serious and deep consideration of drops going on, because this is supposed to be a game that is fun pretendy times, and I remember when this was all fun pretendy times, and it's not any more, and I miss that. I don't know if dropping things will make it fun again. I feel like writing these things down occasionally doesn't do anything, really. It reminds me that I'm scraping through and floundering more than anything else, and I get frustrated with myself, and I've been told in the past that I'm a very alienating person, and I'm trying not to be that way, but I feel like every time I do a SotP, I'm just being more and more alienating, so I should probably, for a while, just stop. I'm not planning any apps in the near future (though I miss Henry like breathing, and I do have pups that I want to play; we see, with Frank, how well that works out), so me missing out on reqs isn't too bad, I suppose.

These cognitive blocks on getting into the game have been going on for well over a year, and really seriously since August, so I feel like I need to start being really serious about what I need to do. Maybe it is an extended, strict hiatus. Maybe it is a really rigorous cut. Who knows. I guess we'll all know when I do it.

State of the Mun
I am feeling a sort of way. Things are going, certainly. I have been vocal about my distaste for the current job on twitter, my poor mental health, my anxiety and lack of contentment. Twitter is becoming exceedingly difficult for me as of late, so I am considering a hiatus from it, but that might wait until after I start the new job.

I do have a new job lined up, starting second week of November. There are three and a half months of training, and then it's a scripted, non-sales call center environment. My last call center environment was a sales position, and it was...frankly a fiasco for my health, so I'm hoping that this will be better. It pays better, has very strict hours, and a lot of cohesion and structure (thanks, federal government), and the tenure is until end April at the latest. That gives me time to get my financial situation in order.

I've been running a crowdfunding effort to try and get those finances in order a little more readily. I feel like I'm begging. That hasn't been helping my mental health at all. Everything feels like I'm alienating everyone, and given that the last few times I've voiced that to people they've essentially gone "well, that's because you are"...

State of the Mun
After a tumultuous first couple of months back in Oregon, here's where I'm at. I quit the job that I was hired for in June within four days and have been unemployed since and it has been an absolute shit show. I have(?) a job(?)--that is, I have been hired, and I'm already on my manager's bad side, so I have been desperately applying to literally anywhere else since getting the job. I've also set up a patreon account because I take a lot of pictures and I feel like people tend to enjoy said pictures so I might as well attempt to monetize on that.

Overall, things are strange right now. I'm glad to be back in my home state, but I feel very far away from everyone and everything and I am trying to get used to that and figure out how to go forward.

Also, you know, the world is falling apart all around us and that's not doing great things to my mental health. So there's that.

Cremisius Aclassi -
Krem, Hild, and Gannicus bought a house and they and Aggie have moved out to the countryside. There is currently an open gathering post to any and all of their friends to act as house warming + birthday for Krem and Gannicus. They are a lovely and happy little family and bring me such immense joy that I barely know how to explain it.

With the impending Unmaker plot, and their relative proximity to Cabeswater, Krem is going to be having a Fun Time come September/October as his nightmares return full force and even worse than they were when he first arrived in Darrow two years ago. Except all sorts of drama to surround that.

As per the last SotP, he has his tailoring shop. Before the end of the year, he will be getting top surgery, but that will probably wait until after the Unmaker plot has resolved so that he can use it as a cathartic/healing venture on top of the psychological necessity he finds in the surgery.

Joseph Kavinsky -
Hasn't been up to a whole lot. He works, he comes home, he and Newt snuggle a lot. The kittens are getting big. Newt's landscaping and gardening business is doing well, the studio is doing well, and Kavinsky helped to celebrate Ripley's first birthday with plenty of cool things for Ripley, and a CD full of Beca's samples and singing for her and Jesse.

Unmaker plot is going to be exceedingly rough on Kavinsky once that takes off, because Ruth and I have already planned that it's going to coincide with Newt having a relapse of the Flare, on top of everything else going sideways. Those that have Kavinsky's dream objects can expect them to start going haywire/rotting sometime in September or October? More to come on those details. Kavinsky himself is going to end up in the hospital for a few days at the end of the plot. Which he will absolutely hate.

Henry Cheng -
Not a whole lot going on with Henry, yet again. I love the boy, but he needs to get some movement around here. Unmaker plot is going to effect him, but only because of it's effect on his friends and RoboBee. If you'd like to do something with this nerd, let me know.

Agron -
Is getting used to the intermittent lack of dexterity that his canon update gave him, continues to work and love living with Steve. Steve's sex swap plot was an interesting time for them, but they definitely got through it! He needs some more shit going on in his life. At some point in the future, he and Gannicus are going to end up with dogs, and he's going to train his as a service animal for the days that he's really bad off. Other than that, if you'd like to do something with him, let me know.

Inej Ghafa -
Had a sex swap plot, has re-adopted Nina Zenik, continues to work at the Crow Club. Things are mostly pretty quiet with Inej right now. She needs more friends/to do things with the friends she has.

I am going to give her an EP, probably before the end of the month, that handles her past sexual trauma in some explicit detail, namely through an attempted assault. When I get it up, there will be warnings all around. I don't go with the idea lightly, but especially want to touch on social reactions to assault (ie, subjecting a woman to the whole "what were you wearing/did you lead him on/how much did you drink").

Billy Rocks -
Has finished Police academy and is officially a Uniformed Officer. Expect to see him issuing citations by the letter of the law, but he's definitely more Lawful Neutral than Lawful Good. Don't get on his bad side. He'll find a way to make your life hard.

Other than that, there isn't a whole lot going on with him. Vasquez just showed up recently, but Billy has very few opinions about that, except to know that he did actually die back home. He needs more plot, more friends, etc. If you'd like a thread with him, let me know.

Even Bech Næsheim -
Had a complete mood crash and minor break down last month, and is slowly recovering through a lot of affirmative quiet time with Isak. He's been keeping up going to work at the Zen Center, but other than that he's mostly just been holing himself up in his apartment. I want to thank everyone that tagged into his break down EP. It's been fun/interesting to watch how different pups react to that specific emotionality.

Until school starts, Even hasn't got any major plots to worry about. Now that he's starting to feel a little better, he'll be much easier to tag around I hope. If you'd like a thread with him, hit me up. I'd like to have him teach people Norwegian that want to learn!

Neil Perry -
Is in both productions for Shakespeare in the Park, which I will be doing an EP for at some point soon, possibly this weekend. The productions are Much Ado About Nothing (which Robert Sean Leonard, Neil's actor/PB, was in) and King Lear.

After the school year starts, Neil will be enjoying his first co-ed public school environment ever/in a very long time. One of the only people he knows isn't even at his school! If you go to Darrow High, please make friends with him. He needs friends so badly.

Otherwise, he and Gabriel are sort of, not really putting a label on it, kind of seeing each other. Neil is very hesitant to say they're "dating" because he still has very outmoded ideas of what "dating" is based on the 1950s compulsory heterosexuality, but he was the one that asked Gabriel out the first time, so he can safely say they are probably coming out together. It's adorable and Neil would be happy to talk about how cute Gabriel Harkin is.

Sabriel -
New pup! Sabriel hasn't been in long (I got her while I was still on hiatus at the start of the month), but her debut is going/went well! She arrived from the end of her first book, and with Mogget, so if you see a small, talking white cat with green eyes running around, never fear, Sabriel will be behind shortly.

Sabriel, luckily, has some experience with modernity but she feels a little out of her element still. Ancelstierre is closer to 40s/50s England than it is to Darrow, so she's still adjusting.

If you're interested in a thread with her, let me know. Other than that, I plan to EP her sometime during the Unmaker plot in a way that makes her susceptible to the demon/possession. Should be fun!


The Future
Current Pups -
Honestly, I love all of them. However, I am struggling, and struggling wildly. It's not an issue of voice, per se, so much as it is an issue of feeling disjointed. Henry, at the moment, is my hardest pup to play because I just feel very aimless with him? I feel like I need to shake him up, especially, and while the Unmaker plot will do that, I don't know if it will be in a way that will have a meaningful impact for him specifically.

Beside him, Agron, Even, and Krem give me intermittent trouble. Even is a very quiet pup, which makes him difficult to throw around. Agron and Krem just feel complacent at the moment, and I think giving Krem the nightmares and finding something for Agron to push back against will be good for them. Either way, I need to figure all four of these kids out, because the more sloppy I feel playing them, the more I feel like people don't want to play off them.

Kavinsky, Henry, Even and Neil aren't in Fight Club, but Neil will have an EP soon. If you'd like the other boys anywhere, let me know.

Queue -
At the moment, I have pups in Queue, but unless I can start getting the ones that I have in regular order they're not going to go anywhere. I'm figuring out that Test Drive isn't the best way for me to see if I like a character, because it's not specifically conducive to voice testing, and that's what I really need to know if I can play.

That being said, I have Frank Castle, Holden Caulfield, and Dr. David Jordan as serious contenders on the queue. If you'd like to voice test off any of them, let me know.

State of the Mun
Wow, apparently I haven't done one of these in 3 months. Let's see, what's going on? I continue to work two jobs, Spring Term has been a lot of readings for comps, and I will HOPEFULLY be taking those exams in 2nd/3rd week of April. I have a couple more meetings with my professors on that front, but I am fairly confident about things at this exact moment. Which of course means it will probably blow up in my face.

My time management has been shit, I've been super low mood-wise, and my paranoia and conflating anxiety have been making me an absolute mess. I feel really disjointed from the game at the moment, but I think I might just need a full-stop, everything goes, fire sale, clean start to kick start things.

Or, you know, to graduate and never have to pick up another book outside of leisure ever again.

Cremisius Aclassi -
Had mostly quiet times from New Years through Valentines. Things with his peoples are going well, especially Gannicus and Hild. For Christimas, Gannicus gave Krem and Hild torques; Hild shared her travel cups with Gannicus and Krem; aaaand Krem probably gave head, because he's classy and I don't think I ever figured out what he was gift giving. I remain utterly charmed by his friendship+sexytimes with Poison, and his...whatever the hell it is he's doing with Bull. Being the Lieutenant of the Chargers.

Most recently, Krem had a minor traumatic event that has been handwaved. He was involved in the Yeerk plot and was, very briefly, a Controller. He has since recovered from the venture, but is a bit rattled.

Joseph Kavinsky -
Is married! Is seeing Jack again! Is coping with his weird and vaguely unnecessary possessiveness about Newt branching out to other people! Hasn't gotten into any major car accidents! Continues to babysit Ripley!

Kav will be having an age swap very shortly here, as soon as I just do it, which could be as early as tomorrow if I kick my ass into gear. He's going to make terrible life choices and make everyone mad at him.

Henry Cheng -
Got RoboBee as his first item in Darrow, and is currently dating Gansey. He works, he schools, he snuggles his boyfriend. Not a whole lot else going on in this kid's life. Always open to plots, private threads, if you want me to throw him somewhere.

Agron -
Has a boyfriend/lover, Steve Cortez, and they're disgustingly cute. At Valentines, Agron got a little carried away with the wine, and Steve got a little jealous; they're adorably monogamous and definitely seeing each other, now. Way to go boys. Agron continues to miss Nasir, but is coping with that loss.

Ideas for the canon update are still on board, but I haven't quite worked out the when just yet.

Inej Ghafa -
She and Kaz are doing a live-in together, and it's wonderful. Sometime soon, Ruth and I will be doing a small personal plot with her and Kaz dealing with Jesper's debtors among the casinos and some of the gangs in Darrow. Everyone will get to see Dirtyhands and the Wraith in action.

Otherwise, I have plans to, at some point do a sex swap with her, and no other major plans. She's working on meeting new people.

Billy Rocks -
Billy arrived at the end of December, and has been having a wild time in Darrow so far. He and Goodnight found each other quickly, and they've moved in together. By Valentines, they'd both realized they could be publicly demonstrative without risking reprisal, and Billy has been ALL ABOUT THAT SHIT. He's attending some preliminary college course at the moment, but will be shortly joining the police academy, and then the force in Darrow.

Otherwise, I have thoughts of plans but no real action. At some point, Goodnight is going to propose. That's plan enough for me.

Even Bech Næsheim -
Even arrived in February, just in time for Valentines and all that. He was a bit of a spur of the moment, but I definitely don't regret him at all. He arrived at a low spot mentally, but having his boyfriend, Isak, around and getting the space to adjust to things is bringing him about. He and Isak have been exploring their relationship--Isak's made out with another guy, Even hooked up with another guy, they're experimenting with semi-exhibitionism. Basically, dumb teenagers/freshly twenty-somethings enjoying the fact that they're the only ones that speak Norwegian around.

No major plans for him at the moment. He's looking to start classes in the summer at the Art School, which may trigger a manic swing in his mood. Otherwise, he needs to meet more people, and flirt with more girls.

State of the Mun
I'm back in school! My schedule there is finally probably set! I have to commute an hour and a half every day that I have class/work over there! We don't have our furniture in our apartment yet! My budget turned out better than expected! I'm talking to the Starbucks manager here in town on Sunday to see about continuing employment with them though at minimal hours!

Overall, things aren't TOO bad. This week and the preceding one have just been a shit storm of moving and trying to find my pace again. Once things settle back out, I will be much more chill and calm and whatever. Hopefully.

Getting my textbooks will fuckin' help, I'm sure.

State of the Pups
Cremisius Aclassi -
Since June, Krem has been denied and then accepted for elective oophorectomy (surgical removal of ovaries; elective because he had no malignant tissues involved in the decision to have them removed), and has spent most of August after his birthday laid up recovering from surgery. His romantic and personal life is, as always, in upheaval; with the arrival of Ellis, his romance with Adaline has gone strictly platonic, and with the arrival of the Iron Bull, his life is just generally more complicated. He's figuring things out. Things continue to be a whirlwind of romance with Hild, Balthier, Thomas and Gannicus. Especially with Gannicus.

On his birthday (Aug 2), Krem received his second gift from the city: his maul, Smash. It joins his collection of odd weapons, including the last gift (the miniature trebuchet), and the dream-weapons he commissioned off Kavinsky for last Fight Club in April.

He'll be returning to full work in September after he gets his release from his doctors, and will be feeling more lively and enthusiastic.

Joseph Kavinsky -
July and August have been tumultuous but good months for Kavinsky. He and Magnus Bane put together a Fourth of July party at the carnival grounds north of town, putting on a festival and substance party the likes of which would have put any of Kavinsky's back in Henrietta to shame. In August, Kavinsky helped Jesse and Beca welcome their daughter Ripley, and has since been working as their nanny as an extension of his work as Beca's assistant. While Beca has still been in recovery/maternity leave, he's been primarily running the studio.

While Kavinsky's relationship with Newt and Al continues to go strong (congrats on a continuous 7 months since the split in January, and 9 months over all, boys!), he's also had a couple ~encounters~ outside of his established relationship which he has been struggling to reconcile with his blossoming sense of guilt and responsibility and love-means-not-disappointing-people. He's never had to really worry about this stuff before, and so it's sort of a struggle for him, but he's doing his best here.

Henry Cheng -
This miscreant continues to be some sort of wunderkind. He's now the controlling interests co-founder of Panoptes Solutions, a clean technologies think tank with Tony Stark; and an incoming freshman at Barton University, planning to declare in Public Policy Planning and Management by the spring. He's also assisting in Jessica Huang's recent adjustment to life in the city because he needs a Asian mom, as well as floundering helplessly in the fact that Richard. Gansey. Is. Here.

Really, Henry is a mess and he has no idea what he's doing, but he's such a fake-it-'till-you-make-it sort of kid that he's making it seem like he has half a clue what he knows what he's doing.

Upheavals in Blue and Gansey's situation following Gansey's rearrival have made Henry a little scarce around the other Henriettas, though he is still doing what he can to ease his way into their ranks without stepping on too many toes. He continues to nurse a crush on Blue and Gansey, and is just not going to tell either one of them, because that would be a terrible idea that would amount to absolutely nothing.

Sean Kendrick -
Sean arrived in late July, and has been settling in slowly but surely. He and Corr have been splitting their time between the beach and Villa Cordova, the stables on the west side of town, where Sean has retrofitted a stall that can hold Corr to the best of anyone's ability. No issues yet.

Not long after Sean's arrival, Puck (his girl?friend?) arrived, and the two of them have been dancing around their romantic entanglement since. The two split their time between each other's apartments though, realistically, spend more time at Puck's, which is larger and closer to the stables.

Sean has also been looking for secondary employment because, while working at the stables helps to cover the costs of boarding Corr, it doesn't cover the costs of feeding him. No luck yet, but he's in the market.

The Future - queue
This is coming first because the "current pups" section is going to be open reign for upcoming plot planning. I only have one pup on the dockets, but he's been back-burnered for a little bit until I feel a little more like a human being again. Agron will, eventually, be making an appearance, but the exact timing of that is up in the air. Possibly around October? Possibly before the new year? Who knows.

The Future - Current Pups - PLOT PLANNING EDITIONS
Alright, so, with the upcoming Alternate Worlds plot, I thought I would lay out my background/current thoughts/intentions with the pups that are participating, and see who would like to kick things around with these guys.

Leocadia Aclassi, coming from a version of Krem's life where he's a cis-identified woman and has been his whole life. Her issues with gender politics in Tevinter have more to do with the stifling of, particularly, impoverished women than anything else. Though large themes of Aclassi's life are the same between the two (tailor's child, father self-selling into slavery, joining of the military), where Krem escaped the military at nineteen after being discovered, Leocadia ascended as high as her gender and station and lack of magical ability would allow her, before being recruited as a spy. From there, at twenty-seven, she was sent to Orlais to join the Inquisition shortly after its inception.

Leocadia has been in Darrow2 for two years, where she works as a secretary and incredibly expensive PI (her PI services are not advertised, and people find this profession of her's largely by word of mouth). She'll be coming over to Darrow Prime to "investigate" (read: spy on) the event and see if it is at all related to the Breach, and might make it possible for herself and the other DA characters to go to their various versions of home.

Yosif Kavinsky, coming from a version of the events of The Raven Cycle where, among other things, Ronan Lynch did not become the sympathetic dreamer of the Gangsey, but Kavinsky did. Following his father's death-by-self-defense and Kavinsky dreaming him back, Kavinsky tried to swear off dreaming. He and his mother moved to Henrietta, where Kavinsky tried to encourage an unobtrusive lifestyle, particularly after he was approached numerous times by people looking for magical goods and after the death of Niall Lynch. He became friends with Gansey through Adam Parrish, and joined in the quest for Glendower with the two of them, Noah, and Blue. He and Adam, shortly into their sophomore year, began dating. During one of several brief break ups, Adam dated Blue, but the two were back together again after Adam and Blue broke up. Ultimately, Blue's prophecy-curse was true in regards to Gansey at the end of their quest in a similar manner to the events of the book; however, Kavinsky, Adam, and Blue's combined abilities were not enough to save Gansey, nor was Kavinsky willing to dream Gansey back.

Kavinsky has been in Darrow2 for approximately 3 months, following the events of the fall of his senior year at Aglionby (essentially The Raven King, prior to the epilogue). He has full knowledge and awareness of all canon events that Ronan would be privy to in the books, supplanted with himself in place. In Darrow2, he works as an "exotic dancer" (read: escort), and he will be spending most of his time in Darrow Prime, especially after he discovers that both Adam and Gansey, and a Blue and Noah most similar to his own, are there.

Henry Cheng, coming from a version of the events of The Raven Cycle where, among other things, Ronan Lynch did not become the sympathetic dreamer of the Gangsey. When Seondeok, Henry's mother, sent Henry to Henrietta to watch the Lynch family and to become her intermediary shortly before Niall's death, Henry made connections with Ronan. The two became associates and as close to friends as either of them were particularly capable to and, following Niall's death, Henry fashioned himself as Ronan's confidant and enforcer. On campus, he made connections with the Vancouver crowd and used their connections to set up an intricate network of barter and trade for Ronan's less valuable or volatile dream objects. Otherwise, Henry worked as the purchaser for his mother.

Cheng has been in Darrow2 for approximately 10 months, following the events of the early fall of his senior year at Aglionby (essentially through his depiction in Blue Lily, Lily Blue). He has knowledge of all canon events in the first two books and approximately half of BLLB, skewed with 1) Ronan in the place of Kavinsky, 2) Ronan surviving the events of the Fourth of July, and 3) himself as, essentially, the whole 'Dream Pack', or sidekicks to the antagonist dreamer (in this case, Ronan). In Darrow2, he continues to work as Ronan's enforcer, as well as be an enforcer and distributor for the Korean mob in Darrow2. He will be spending time in both Darrow Prime and Darrow2.

No other pups will have alternatives in this plot. All four Primes will be available to interact with alternatives, to go on any events across the barrier into Darrow2, or to discuss the event with other Primes, etc. Cheng will be the only one consistently popping back and forth between Darrow Prime and Darrow2 throughout the plot; the other two will, predominately, be exclusively in Darrow Prime.

State of the Mun
Well, the move back to the states happened. I didn't get a job in NY, despite applications all over the city and, since the car is going west with the Lady, so am I for the summer. Hoping that prospects in CA are even slightly better. I've started putting in applications already around the area where we'll be living from late May through August, when I have to move back to OH.

Had a lovely discussion with my History adviser, now have to decide if I'm going to be writing a thesis or doing a comprehensive reading exam. Either way, he fully believes that I should be able to complete my degree in the allotted year. The school screwed me on 42% of my loan amount, however, and are claiming it's because last year I had summer classes and this year I don't/I have a full-funding scholarship (I had a full-funding scholarship my first year, too, and I barely scraped by on the skin of my teeth).

Confounded on housing in OH atm. It will happen. Onward and upwards.


State of the Pups
Cremisius Aclassi -
Over the past month, not a whole lot has changed in Krem's life. He is still wildly in love with Hild and refuses to say anything to her for fear of ruining their friendship/current arrangement with each other. He and Thomas are doing some sort of thing that involves a lot of snuggling and bad jokes and them worrying about each other ceaselessly while they both refuse to put any sort of definition on what they are to each other. He and Adaline are enjoying each other's company to an almost ridiculous degree. He and Balthier have started doing a thing which is Definitely Just Sexual.

In the middle of April, Krem threw together the third Darrow Fight Club. While successful and well received in the wake of KIRIN's attack on powered individuals, it was also a bit more violent than previous fight clubs for the same reason, and because of Krem's open policy of weapon use.

Moving into May, Krem has been recovering from his injuries, working steadily, and managing to not drink as much (go you, Krem)! Throughout April and into May, he has been the occasional respite stop for Blue, Aggie, and Dorian as they need it in their own recovery from events of the past month.

Joseph Kavinsky -
Similarly, Kavinsky's month has been relatively quiet. After returning from KIRIN captivity, he spent a couple days acclimating to being out, including shmoopy love confessions to Al and returning to work. At the middle of the month, he went to the Darrow Fight Club, where he was roundly and summarily outmatched--but at least actually stood a chance this time, because he was fighting with a damned baseball bat. He broke Alec Lightwood's jaw and Ronan Lynch's arm, and, after returning home, had some not particularly healthy coping procedures for what he'd done/some words that were exchanged.

Toward the end of the month, Kavinsky received his first item in Darrow: his white 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X FQ-400. The Mitsubishi in question is one of approximately one hundred Mitsubishi Evos that Kavinsky has dreamt in Henrietta, but it's the essential functional prototype of the other functional Evos, and comes to him from before his debut point (prior to a substance party in Henrietta where he encouraged Gansey and Ronan to destroy it).

Moving into May, Kavinsky is now helping Peter Simmonds through the disappearance of his boyfriend, Jason. He continues to work both jobs. He has also definitely, absolutely not been harboring a crush on Jack Vincent, who arrived in Darrow by fainting into Arch Studios while Kavinsky was there by himself, and who Kavinsky has been hanging out with periodically since his arrival in early April.

Peter Hayes -
Peter...continues to not do a whole lot. He is adjusting steadily to Darrow, still finds it incredibly strange, and is enjoying the various types of food he has access to. Like Krem and Kavinsky, he went to Darrow Fight Club. He was considerably better at his fights than Kavinsky, though not as good as Krem.


The Future - Current Pups!
Personal plot stuff with Krem has been moved; projected timeline for that showing up is end of May. Keep a weather eye peeled for that! He's been having a good time for too long, and something needs to be done about that right now.

Safe to say, IG, that Kavinsky has his tattoos now--though it's unlikely he will be showing them off to too many people outside of his boys, or if you happen to catch him at the club he does his male revue at on the weekends, or at Whenever Fitness, where he practices. He has a tribal newt on his right ribs, and a crowned star (which doesn't currently have an example because all the tattoo examples I can find are stupid) on his left, for Newt and Al, respectively.

Peter needs to do something, but at least I'm scraping recs with him, atm.

The Future - queue

Cremisius "Krem" Aclassi -
Oh lord so much happened over December, but at the same time, not a lot happened. Krem came back from SD, got a tattoo, and used that as his rubric for healing. He told Thomas what happened to him in SD, he and Noah threw a wildly successful winter holiday party (lots of people came! nobody fought!), and eventually, Krem also told Noah what happened in SD as well. For Christmas, he and Noah went up to Kagura and spent several days up there; and when Krem came back down (a day earlier than Noah), he beat people up and got beat up himself at the Boxing Day fight club session. A good time had by all, all the way up through the new year!

For the most part, Krem is passing himself off as "healed" from the events that occurred to him in SD. He'd not. He's still suffering from a lot of nightmares and still has quite a lot of issues with uninvited touch, particularly from strangers (and particularly from strange men). However, because he told himself that he had six weeks from the time of getting his tattoo to learn how to manage his anxiety, he's calling himself "healed", or at least managed, and so he's making a very valiant effort to act like he's no longer effected by those events any more. This will come back to bite him in the ass.

Joseph Kavinsky -
Kavinsky did a lot of things between the last SotP and now! Unlike Krem, who was largely being a homebody and avoiding everyone because of psychological trauma, Kavinsky was avoiding everybody because, well. He had a boyfriend! Who...had another boyfriend! After Kavinsky nominally moved out of his apartment to avoid his shitty landlord getting mad at him for the noise he was making (not sorry, Bulgarian hip hop is good), Kavinsky sure did get to spend his Thanksgiving super awkwardly with Newt and Al, and then a progressive series of less awkward events with them as well, which was pretty good for him. Except for the fact that Joseph Kavinsky doesn't do Emotions and the last guy that he had Feelings about...WELL. That didn't end well for anybody involved! So Kavinsky went and ruined everything in a series of debauched not-really-one-night-stands with Connor, culminating in Newt Figuring That Out. Since then, Kavinsky has been bouncing between his warehouse and...well, nowhere else really, because he had the startling realization that all his "friends" either 1) don't actually like him that much or 2) are actually friends with his boyfriend+boyfriend's boyfriend, and that makes it really awkward to ask to stay on their couch when you were a shit hole.

Things are looking up, though. As of his EP (1/5), Kavinsky and Al are sort of talking again, and as of today (1/8), Kavinsky and Newt are talking again. Everybody's working things out. Kavinsky feels properly reproached for his behavior. He's learning about these Emotion things.

The Future - Current pups!
Krem has started testosterone! This is going to affect his emotional state substantially over the coming months, spike his PTSD, both from SD and the residuals from his entrance, and ultimately finally culminate in the stress/anxiety that leads him to seeking psychological assistance to manage himself. He started T a little before Christmas, and so a PB shift will start phasing in around February. Elliott Sailors will stay on for some time, but there will be a slow phase in of Aydian Dowling.

Kavinsky has no specifically major plans for the future except to keep working on being better at this whole Having Emotions and Being a Functional Person thing. He has been feeling guilty about living in Newt's apartment for a while, and so discussion needs to be had between Newt and Al and he about the three of them bunking down together in something a little more size appropriate for the three of them. He's considering a GED, but not any further education since, as far as he can tell, there's nowhere to go from here and what's the point of a college education in a closed community?

Peter (Divergent series) has a journal and is on reserve for P1 (January/February), so I need to kick my butt into gear about figuring that out.

Cremisius "Krem" Aclassi -
When last we checked in with this little miscreant, it was just after his item post in October. Since then, he has had independent discussions with Noah and Thomas about his nonmonogamy, smoothed over the fuck up of kissing Thomas without telling him that he was already dating Noah, and was making some pretty progressive headway on establishing himself a pretty comfortable set of cuddly boys--

And then Silent Darrow hit. Silent Darrow was very difficult for Krem, not the least of which because it dredged up a lot of internalized and sublimated rhetoric he's been subjected to throughout his life. Besides listening to his "spectres" directed at him, he also got to hear them directed at Dorian, and--obliquely--at Noah, Thomas, and most everyone else he encountered as well. Beyond that, he was subject to two major Fear Plots to escape SD: 1) fighting and killing versions of his parents that had been subjected to blood magic and which parroted a lot of Krem's own doubts about himself, his leaving Tevinter, and generally about his nature and behavior (currently posted on Krem's journal; warning for misogynistic language in the hover text, violence, minor horror); and 2) fighting and killing the Tribune and his men who found him in a border tavern and attempted to "retrieve and return" him to Tevinter (not currently posted on Krem's journal; will contain graphic content), allowing him to face his fear of dependence on the Iron Bull and helplessness in the face of authority, among his original fears/doubts about himself, his leaving Tevinter, and general anxiety over his nature and recent sexual behaviors.

Upon leaving Silent Darrow (11/16), Krem will be slightly withdrawn and not the least bit interested in discussing his experiences over the past three weeks. Almost immediately, he, Dorian and Adam will be working together on an enchantment that will protect Noah from further decay, spirit/magical influence, or general ghostification. Note: Noah will still be a ghost, and will still be dead; he will still be able to move without the confines of time/space and thus "teleport" from place to place. However, he will be much more corporeal, will seem to have a physical warmth and more natural skin color, will not randomly flicker out, will not be (quite so) effected by Ronan/Kavinsky messing with Cabeswater-in-Darrow, and will no longer be able to read pups thoughts.

Once Noah's squared away, Krem will be assuring himself that all of his other people are safe and sound as well, including, but not limited to: the Henrietta group enmasse (EVEN YOU, RONAN), Hild, Thomas (and by extension Newt, though they've only just met), Biffy, Balthier, Al, and Tris and Christina. Note: There might be an EP of him seeking people out/checking around time in a pique to make sure people are Still Around in the aftermath of this new PTSD; it would probably be a good time to tag him! He will also probably hit up Tintern or Semele's and drink himself under a table, because that is a healthy reaction to three weeks in an ashen hell hole that wanted to tear his brain apart. He will be consciously putting the breaks on any romancey things in his life, and simply squirrel around in a space of terrified snuggling, while he processes his exit from SD. The exit will probably have some lasting effects on him (or, more accurately, resurface some preexisting effects) that he is going to have to work through, either with Actually Talking About It or with Professional Assistance.

Joseph Kavinsky -
Kavinsky has had an...interesting month and change in Darrow so far. Almost immediately after his entrance, he set up a substance party, which was at once entirely what he wanted to be (unadulterated debauchery) and not what he wanted at all. Since then, he has felt himself stagnating a bit, and attempted to invigorate his life with a little enthusiastic stalking of Ronan Lynch which worked...a bit better than he had expected, actually. Up to an including through the beginning of the SD plot.

Kavinsky, who did not drop into Silent Darrow at any point, was subjected slightly to Ronan's worry over losing Adam into it, and it marked of approximately 4-5 days worth of intense dreaming for the both of them, held in the warehouse where Kavinsky had held the substance party. However, Gansey eventually managed to intervene and pull Ronan away, and when the two left, Kavinsky was left to his own devices. This included destroying a number of Ronan's dream things in a fit of rage, and Kavinsky temporarily locking up the warehouse until he figures out what to do with the rest of the items (many of which are quite large).

Kavinsky also met Newt, slightly after this. Newt is...proving difficult for Kavinsky, because not only does Newt not take Kavinsky's shit, but Newt seems to? genuinely? not mind being around him? Kavinsky isn't sure what the hell is going on with that, but he's fairly certain it has something to do with the sex, which is pretty spectacular and they should definitely keep happening.

He is definitely not developing feelings there is not a warm happy feeling when he thinks about Newt that would be stupid the last person he had feelings about is a dream thing now nope.

After SD (and currently being played), Kavinsky takes Newt out to Cabeswater-in-Darrow to show him dreaming in action, which--besides Ronan--he's only ever shown Prokopenko. There, he dreamed a flock of birds (finches, from the Aglionby campus), and flowers (sunflower seeds, from his grandmother's garden in Bulgaria) for Newt. After some thoroughly debauched, and surprisingly sober (for Kavinsky) sex back at Newt's, Kavinsky returns to his apartment...and realizes that he just had a date. Joseph Kavinsky is experiencing Emotions for the first time in about two years, and he really doesn't know how he feels about that.

In store for Krem: He will have an EP this month for stressful reunion with Darrow! If you would like to meet him/talk to him/have a drink with him/whatever, feel free to tag into it. If you want a private post with him, let me know. Also on the docket, therapy and starting testosterone. Though he's going to be starting T with a conscientious consent form, he's going to be seeking therapy for handling his continuing nightmares/stress/inability to properly communicate like a real person. Around January, I plan on giving him his death wound, but there will be a SoTP closer to that event.

In store for Kavinsky: He will have an EP this month after spending a few days holed up in his apartment getting shwasted because What Are Emotions? If you would like to deal with a self-destructive sociopath who refuses to go to therapy because he believes that self medication is just as good as structured assistance, feel free to tag into it.
